1. Due to reports on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus and the culminating epidemic of influenza, the Crisis Staff of the Technical University of Košice headed by Rector TUKE prof. Stanislav Kmeť decided to join preventive measures of Bratislava universities in order to prevent the spread of the disease. Being the largest university in Eastern Slovakia with more than 9,000 students and the largest capacity of accommodation facilities, we take the situation extremely seriously, and we also feel responsible for the health of our students and staff.

From Monday 9 March 2020 from 12.30 until further notice, presentation lesson is canceled. The educational process will take the form of self-study or other appropriate method. Details shall be laid down by the Dean and by the Deans of the Faculties and by persons authorized by them. The TUKE Crisis Staff invites students to follow the university mailboxes and TUKE website. It will continue to monitor the situation and report immediately on further reports.
